For all the furor around children’s right to identify as LGBTQ, not much debate has happened on exactly WHEN the children are to be considered mature enough to engage in certain identity-related actions.

The functioning of our policy on international student visa is so rife with wrongdoing at multiple points that expecting good outcomes from it would be naïve in the extreme. We need a total revamp of this policy.

For all the chatter about 'misinformation', the kind that originates from official sources is never in focus. If we are to get a handle on this issue, we will need to tackle this part first.

The unexplored part of Bill C-18 is this: If the tech companies were ‘stealing’ the content of news publishers, why wasn’t anyone charged for this ‘theft’? And why can’t legacy media increase subscription revenues?
